OnePlus Nord is finally here, and I’ll be sharing the details right after this. So the Nord launch is finally upon us. We know the full design that we’ve had new benchmark results published.
We have display and camera information that tells us everything we need to know. The benchmarks have appeared on Geek Bench and so far we have three different listings for the OnePlus Nord.
They’re all very close in score with the single-core score being 610, 611, and 613. The multicore scoring of the phone benchmarks is a little bit more varied, but they still come in at 1850, 1944, and a top score of 1957. The benchmark confirms that the OnePlus Nord is going to be powered by the Snapdragon 765G system on Chip.
Finally, it confirms that the OnePlus Nord is going to be running Android 10 in the form of an Oxygen OS, which was always likely as Android 11 isn’t official yet.
OnePlus Nord is coming with a quad-camera setup
- The primary rear sensor is going to be the 48 megapixels Sony IMX 586 and this has an aperture of f1.75.
- We also get an 8-megapixel ultra-wide,
- a 5-megapixel depth sensor, and
- a 2-megapixel macro lens.
On the front surprise of a dual camera punch-hole, which is a 32-megapixel wide-angle and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide. Various tuning in photography software to provide us with impressive results from this setup.
OnePlus Nord has the 90 Hertz AMOLED display, which is one of the most important features. It’s going to have a 4115 mAh power battery to easily last the day. That will, of course, come with reasonable cameras that will cover in detail shortly. And it’s all powered by the Snapdragon 765G.
But overall, it’s looking like a good midrange phone that won’t break the bank, but it will provide you with the specs and design you want. So when it comes to the OnePlus Nord, we get a pretty much full-screen display, which is a fluid AMOLED 6.44-inch display at a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. This gives us a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 409 pixels per inch density.
The punch selfie camera consists of a 32-megapixel wide-angle camera with an aperture of 2.45 and we get an 8-megapixel ultra-wide with an aperture of at 2.45. It’s capable of 10 ATP video at 30 frames a second, but it doesn’t have optical image stabilization when it comes to the rear of the OnePlus Nord.
The phone comes with 6GB of RAM and 128 internal storage or other OnePlus phones recently have removed the micro SD card slot. We are hoping for this to come back to the Nord, but they still haven’t on it. OnePlus Nord is powered by the Snapdragon 765G, which is a capable chipset to power the phone.
It has 4G connectivity, NFC, Bluetooth, 5.1, and it’s all powered by a 4115 mAh power battery with 30 watts charger. It, unfortunately, does not have the 3.5 headphone jack, but we will likely see deals for the OnePlus Budd’s. No, overall, it’s looking like a great mid-range smartphone and should compete well with the Pixel 4A and the iPhone.
That means for most people it’s going to be able to do everything they need. Of course, if you’re a gamer, then this isn’t the phone for you, but for anyone else, it’s definitely gonna be worth considering.
